• HEAVY-DUTY CONSTRUCTION - Durable polypropylene sump and High-Flow Polypropylene (HFPP) cap thread together with a single large closure and an EPDM O-ring; 1" NPT inlet and outlet ports. This model has no pressure-relief button.
• TESTED AND CERTIFIED - This housing is Tested and Certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material and structural integrity; polypropylene housing and cap with an EPDM seal stand up to a broad range of chemicals.
• CARTRIDGE COMPATIBILITY - Accepts 4.5" diameter, 10-inch "Big Blue" cartridges, so you can match the media to your water with 1" NPT inlet and outlet connections for an easy install.
• LEAK PREVENTION; do not over tighten sump, tighten to hand tight and give additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn, plastic fittings preferred over metallic, do not over tighten fittings, use Teflon tap on threaded connections. Cartridge, mounting bracket, and wrench are NOT included and are sold separately.
