The fasteners require no tools to install. Slide the fastener in place and fold the fastener over the top of the siding. They are made of pliable, rust-resistant aluminum.
Once installed, the fasteners are hidden from view. This gives an aesthetically pleasing look to your siding repair project. And your siding can still expand and contract, preventing your vinyl siding from buckling.
A 10 pack secures up to 6ft of loose siding, 20 pack 12ft, 30 pack 18ft, 40 pack 24ft. The Loose siding fasteners are installed every 7 inches in the affected area.
Designed to fit on horizontal vinyl siding, not vinyl cedar shake. They are not designed to prevent siding from falling off the wall, or secure siding that is separated more than 1/8 inch at the locking mechanisms.
