A must have upgrade hinge for your U1 door: with this add-on you will be able to open your printer door from 90° to fully by 180° or even 270°. Hinge stopper to be able adjust doors sideways, to remove gap on left side.
Upgrade: CNC metal material, durable and smoother, doors can open sideways, have more space for adjusting glass in/out.
Prevents machine door sagging and offers a wider, more stable opening, providing optimal access for printer maintenance, hot bed cleaning, and print model removal.
Please watch the video for installation instructions: Install the hinge onto the existing metal hinge assembly, then remove the four original screws with rubber washers from the glass door (please keep the original screws). We recommend removing the original screw at the bottom of the door first.
Installation Tips and DIY Experience: We recommend not fully tightening any screws until all screws are aligned and inserted into their respective mounting points. This allows for easier final position adjustments before locking everything down. Since some screws are relatively small, this part of the assembly may require a bit of extra patience. However, once you complete the assembly, you‘ll enjoy the rewarding Interesting that comes with a successful DIY project.
