The instrument features a 32-bit processor with a NIST-compliant database of 112 refrigerants (including R22, R410A, R134a, R32, etc.). When paired with optional clamp-on temp probes (sold separately), the VA114 automatically calculates Target Superheat (SH) and Subcooling (SC) , taking the guesswork out of achieving peak system efficiency.
• Essential Leak Test & Pressure Hold Mode: Verify system integrity before releasing costly refrigerant. Switch to the dedicated Pressure Leak Test Mode to monitor the rate of pressure drop over time. The screen records the initial pressure and tracks the drop in real-time with a built-in timer, helping you identify micro-leaks in line sets or Schrader valves efficiently.
• Vacuum Measurement Function: Please note that the VA114 measures relative vacuum pressure in Inches of Mercury (inHg) only (displayed as negative PSI/Kpa/Bar). This unit DOES NOT measure in Microns and is not intended for deep vacuum dehydration testing. For accurate deep vacuum readings, a standalone micron gauge is required
